Negative Days Go Away!

I had a negative day.

And I noticed that because MOST of my days right now are positive 9 to 1,

so a negative day would just stand out.
However it wasn’t always like this. I used to be very negative like 7-8 years ago.
Surprise? 😀
Well, I’m not writing this to you to rant or to complain about anything,

I just thought that this topic would be pretty interesting for most people.

See, no matter how positive you are, you’ll still face circumstances or unexpected events, that will bring down your emotional meter from 10 to 1. Sometimes -4.

What would you do when that happens?

Do you know what I would do 7-8 years back?

I’ll do nothing.

I’ll just lock myself in the room, lie on my bed and stare at the ceiling.

Let the space of negative energy just consume me and time would seem so slow and distorted.

Sometimes, go to sleep to escape “reality” per say.

Does it work?Well, at least for awhile, until I wake up, and the same thoughts crowd up inside my head and I’ll start feeling shitty again.

One day, I found this book called “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne. The same author of the book “The Secret”.

She talked about converting the negative into positive and if I’m not mistaken, the chapter is called” Gratitude your way out!”

After applying it myself, I have declared that this is the best solution among most of the things I tried.

Furthermore combining all of them.

I NEVER looked back.

I didn’t need to feel shitty anymore when I come across a negative day.

Having said that, I would like to share with you, to help sprinkle some positive magic dusts to turn your day around if you’re ever having a bad day 🙂

Here’s how:

Step 1 :For that ONE negative thing/event/thought/circumstance that you are facing now.

Step 2: Find TEN things that you are grateful for it. (I know it’s freaking hard to do that especially when you’re already feeling negative about it, but really ask yourself, “What are you grateful for?”

Here are some additional questions that you can use to ask yourself:

A) How will this situation help me grow as a person?
B) How will this challenge/frustration right now I’m facing, serve me in the long run?

C) How can I change this into a strength that may in the future, allow me to help someone else who’s facing this right now to OVERCOME it?
Step 3: Go back to all TEN things you are grateful for, and say “Thank you for this valuable opportunity for me to grow as a person!” (Most importantly, really feel it! Feel the gratitude!)
I hope that helps 🙂
I’ll end this with an amazing quote I saw online today:
Anything that annoys you is teaching you patience.
Anyone who abandons you is teaching you how to stand up on your own two feet.
Anything that angers you is teaching you forgiveness and compassion.
Anything that has power over you is teaching you how to take your power back.
Anything you hate is teaching you unconditional love.
Anything you fear is teaching you courage to overcome your fear.
Anything you can’t control is teaching you how to let go.
